Session 5 Support?

I have seen several posts lately saying that GoPro has announced that they will not be supporting the Session 5 on the Karma after all, yet I have seen no official confirmation of this.

Has anyone seen any definitive proof that this is true (or otherwise)?

No official word yet. The harness was supposed to come out spring 2017, was then moved to Summer 2017, and then removed altogether. Sales of the Hero5 Session and Karma must not have met expectations or there were issues they couldn't overcome with balancing the Session correctly. Just a guess, but I don't think we are going to see it.
