Hello from Tacoma, Washington. Despite my name BadKarma, I actually like the thing. The GoPro Karma is moody and has a mind of its own. It'll smash its rotors just to say, "Don't tell me what to do." It's the Goth of drones.
If you treat your Karma drone with respect and do not push the envelope, it will serve you well. With a good GPS signal it is the most stable drone on the market. Here is a clip that took recently in Nova Scotia:
Thanks, James. It looks like a crane shot. I shot some video in Alaska this weekend and couldn't believe how rock-solid the footage is. I have decided Karma is not a drone in the normal sense, but a flying platform for the Hero 6, providing buttery-smooth footage. I will win no races nor will I fly the longest, but I will have the sexiest aerial footage around.
