Is joining Civil Air Patrol really worth it?

What are some pros and cons?

I'm looking into getting into aviation, getting my PPL and so on (maybe advancing to my ATPL... who knows). I was wondering if CAP would teach me anything at all or if it's like being in the military (PT PT PT PT PT and more PT). I'm a former Marine, so it wouldn't be a huge step but I've still got a few questions. Shein Reviews
