hello guys.
For roughly 35 usd including shipping, i got a used charger, controller and a drone battery.
Battery was dead on arrival. Would not charge even on my two other fully working chargers.
I let it charge for a couple hours and when ever i disconnect and reconnect again, a pulsating flash on one LED will turn on.
So i knew i might be able to revive it.
3 days on the wall right before 48 hours finally the battery started charging and blinking and the charger became hot. Then i knew its alright.
The controller also seemed to have the first factory firmware of 1.11. I will extract this on my PC for future up/down grades later.
Anyways.
If any of you have a none charging battery, just let it sit charging for a couple days.
I also noticed that when it was fully drained, the battery was soft from the inside. Once it started to charge, it became firm.
I also almost (i thought) killed a fully functioning battery.
I fully drained a battery inside the drone for a full night to diagnose one of my karma pairing issues.
12 hours later it fully drained.
Went to charge it but it didnt charge. I thought i killed it.
So left it for 2-3 hours plugged in and it came alive.
Never drain your batteries to 0.
Cheers
