Drone safety after failure

The company Indemnis Alaska have developed a parachute for the failure drone to land without be damaged?
I am curious can it be installed on karma.

The model in the video above looks a tad too big for the Karma... but it is certainly an interesting concept.

Is there a way to manually turn the Karma completely off in flight? Otherwise...I cant imagine that this work work, except in the rare event of complete power failure, bird strike, etc...

I sent a mail to them and got the reply as:

"James,
Thank you for your interest. The Nexus is drone specific. The current model is for the DJI Inspire 2. The DJI M200, DJI M210 and M600 will be available in late 2019.
