About 120 kms James. Flying over water is fine until you get low on battery. You really have to be concious of that!

Thanks for your kind words mate. I would be lying if I said my heart wasn't beating a bit faster than normal . I wish I could have gotten down a bit closer but there is a definite limit to my bravery .

This is my first try at filming surf. It was much more difficult than I had imagined. Cut 12 minutes of footage down to 1 .

Thank you b00tl3g, filming over water is always a risk but it is so worth it. I am trying to get some good stuff footage at the moment. Waves make it extra fun .
