They bricked all pre-recall Karmas with a firmware update, if you had/have one you won't be able to fly it.

I know this is an old post, but the red stripe are the batteries that come with the karma's kit, I have 4 karmas and every battery that came with the kits has the red stripe, all the spare batteries I purchased are without it.
