Great to hear from you Ironspear!
I now have more room here which to fly my drones the two of them, no airports and city buildings. So I will take it step by step, and will publish my results as we progress.
The Karma is still being produced in China and there is an outlet based here in...
Well it is nice to know that so many people have got their Karma drones back up and running. What I am looking for are the explicit instructions that GoPro posted to cure the problem? Has anyone kept and filed a copy? If you did I would be most grateful!
I am in process of getting myself geared up once more to fly my Karma drone again. After a couple of years of moving and getting settled down on the Eastern shore of Canada in Nova Scotia. To get the pairing system working again I am going to try pairing in three stages, first pairing the drone...
G'Day All, I am back fron my visit to the Cook IsIands, and like everyone else ran into the GPS problem, and since my return have not had a chance to update the gear. I have though bought a BT Anemometer to measure the wind speed before you fly from Amazon. I will find it very useful I am sure...

Hi Kisley,
One thing you may invest in is the Karma Drone Handbook by Jordan Hetrick from Amazon. There is lot of good information set out in a logical sequence.
I have followed Jordan Hetrick's instructions as given in his Karma Drone handbook, power up the controller first, wait till it wants to pair, then start the drone. It goes through quite a lot sequences, so don't rush things.
Yes, pairing is a must. I have just updated my controller, then paired it to the drone and watched it as it updated everything. This was in preparation for my forthcoming trip to Rarotonga.
Quite right Kevin, here in Canada you are required by the latest June rules put out by Transport Canada that you maintain VLOS at all times. As for flying in any Precipitation is sheer madness!
