There are no optical sensors on the Karma with this version.Maybe on the next version as so many people seem to want it. Karma has a one button system for auto take off and auto landing and also has return to home.

The specs for the HERO 5 has a new addition to the FOV options,Linear,so you should be happy about that. It shoots RAW photos too,I'm happy about that.

Yep the web site is up and running,well strolling along slowly,very slowly,but the specs look good.

I see that as very possible as the web site that was prematurely updated showed a hand held gimbal so it could be as you say.Possibly available as a stand alone unit and also as an optional extra with Karma.

A new teaser video is being sent out today. There's a quick glimpse of a Karma flying into shot from the upper right 15 seconds in. It looks much like the pictures we've seen.
