When I 1st got it, yes I took the propellers off before packing. That lasted for a month or 2. For the last 6 months I haven't taken the propellers off unless one breaks. I use my karma 2 to 4 times a week.
I experience this once in a while. Usually I just wait a bit and give it a chance to recognize the camera, figuring the camera startup is taking more time than usual and that has worked. After a minute or two, if it still doesn't recognize the camera, I turn off and then on the drone.
If these blades are firmer and less likely to break, is there a chance that during a crash there is more stress put on the motor that would overwise have been absorbed by the breaking stock blades?
That said, I just purchased a set.
