Hello everyone, concerning the repair of the problem pairing of the KARMA drone.

to answer questions that we are asked regularly :

Regarding the final test it is mandatory for us because since we have a new agreement with gopro because the labor is free and also the estimate which is 32€ it is GoPro who takes the payment for you so GoPro obliges us to do these warranty tests, but if the slightest problem arises it is at our expense because our quote is guaranteed.


Why do you need the whole set (KARMA, Gimbal, one battery, camera, remote) for pairing repair ?
Simply at the end of the repair process we need to serialize the encryption of the KARMA set, for this we need a unique set for ID RSA SPI and unique serial number of SPI NAND Flash Security Features: UID and Array Protection coupling. The UID is unique for each individual device and linked to other identifiers on the device.

Hello everyone, we want to clear up a recent concern.

We wanted to clear up a frequent problem that we have more and more. As we have explained well several post the problem of pairing is generic Because it only means that the controller does not communicate with the KARMA drone. And the LEDs that light up don't give any relevant information.

Because the karma architecture drone is multi-bus and multi-processor, contains several processor controller 23 only in the body KARMA. The leds are controlled by the first processor to be able to make a firmware injection if a big crash firmware for example may bad update or even if the motherboard is broken in two the first processor will light up the leds, so this does not give any functional information only that the battery gives voltage.

All the circuits 6 PCB in the body have several processors, as we have already explained several times the internal communication of the drone is encrypted UID with the serial numbers of the components and each circuit contains several.

If out of ignorance you change the motherboard, without having the constructor tools you generate important system writing in the NAND memory is constantly because the encryption frame is corrupted. Incompetence because all the systems validated by the FAA DGCA security organizations ... require this architecture mode to avoid any hacking of a flying system.

So as we have explained a lot important system writing in the NAND memory, this will cause an irreparable aging of destruction of the NAND memory. The verification is very easy if on the menu of the remote control it indicates a KARMA serial number different from the serial number on the label on the back of the drone this indicates a corruption of the system.
WARNING We are receiving a lot of KARMA at the moment who have this corruption.

Hello everyone, we want to clear up a recent concern.

The problem that the stabilizer is seen ok on the device menu of the remote control but not the camera.
There are two communication bus with the drone on two different processors.
So it is important to understand where the problem is to do two tests :

1 Check if the HDMI signal of the camera works well, connect the camera to the HDMI port of your TV with a cable to connect to the USB port of the camera and a PC because the most frequent problem is that by overheating the central processor of the camera is broken and no longer supports the mixed load of HDMI and USB and in this case the camera is no longer usable on the KARMA Drone you are forced to use another because the repair of the camera is much too expensive
2 do the same check after a factory reset of the camera

If after these two tests the camera is ok, check that when starting the KARMA drone after the stabilization of the camera that the drone icon on the front of the camera is indeed displayed
If all conditions are ok, the problem is too much signal loss between the camera and the drone possible reason connector corrosion by humidity or damaged controller hardware

Nous voulions éclaircir un problème fréquent que nous rencontrons de plus en plus.
Le problème est que le stabilisateur est bien vu dans le menu de la télécommande mais pas l'appareil photo.
Il y a deux bus de communication avec le drone sur deux processeurs différents.
Il est donc important de comprendre d'où vient le problème pour ce faire deux tests :

1 Vérifiez si le signal HDMI de la caméra fonctionne bien, connectez la caméra au port HDMI de votre téléviseur avec un autres câble connecter au port USB de la caméra et à un PC car le problème le plus fréquent est qu'en surchauffe le processeur central de la caméra est HS et ne supporte plus la charge mixte HDMI et USB et dans ce cas la caméra n'est plus utilisable sur le Drone KARMA vous êtes obligé d'en utiliser une autre car la réparation de la caméra coûte beaucoup trop cher
2 faites la même vérification après une réinitialisation d'usine de la caméra

Si après ces deux tests la caméra est ok, vérifiez qu'au démarrage du drone KARMA après la stabilisation de la caméra que l'icône du drone à l'avant de la caméra s'affiche bien
Si toutes les conditions sont correctes, le problème est une trop grande perte de signal entre la caméra et le drone, raison possible de la corrosion des connecteurs par l'humidité ou un le contrôleur KARMA endommagé.
