I flew with AirFrance and their regulation is that you can have two under 100Wh batteries in hand baggage. And Karma battery is 75.4Wh.
AirFrance says the lithium should be less than 2g... I have no idea how many grams is there in the battery?
But I had no problems to travel with the them.
I'm now back home from our vacation and I continue with my positive feedback:
No problem in any of my around 30 flights.
Never even hinted there would be any GPS problem.
My top altidude 420m (from the controller) and distance 1000m.
I managed to fly twice in a tree/bush and broke totally 5...
I tested the auto return in a flat area and it flew back well, but I don't exactly remember how it flew.
Now I'm in the mountains.
If I have understood correctly the drone altide return setting is calculated from the drone altitude and not from the GPS.
For example I flew and started from 1016m...
I have now flown several flights with the Karma and I have had no problem.
No risky flights with high altitude or far away and the GPS signal has been very good and no interference near by (I think the closes phone mast is 7miles away).
I just thought to share a positive feedback...
sorry, pressed send too early
...Of course it would drift in some direction. But it would ran away with full speed.
And when keeping one location even when drifting, it would be easier to get back the control of the Drone.
Slightly like diving test you need to dive forward in one direction and...
I fully understand without GPS the positioning is impossible. But as you said yourself with a torque calculation and the command to give to move the Drone can still be calculated fairly close how much it is moving. Of course 50ft would be much easier than compared to 1mile.
If the program would...
Hello!
I have been reading this forum after I did the 1.51 upgrade on the Drone... and now I'm slightly worried.
I'm going to travel to Italy make some advertisement footage, and afterwards I'm going to use the Karma Grip. I'm just hoping the Drone will not disappear in the first day otherwise...
