@CRXPanda I'm certain that the Karma Controller is running Android v4.4 KitKat. I don't know what's running internally in the Drone. Interestingly, I noticed a couple of more things. First, near the end of the video, it interesting to see that the Qualcomm WiFi/BT module is on the bottom side...

@CRXPanda I forgot to mention earlier... Did you notice the slot mount on the side-pod circuit board (at 1:39 of the video)??!??!???!? To me, it looks like it a slot for a Micro SD card. I wonder why iFixit didn't mention anything about it? Hmmmm. Makes me wanna do ....

Can you post what URL your screenshot is from? I'm still seeing v1.50 at GoPro Official Website - Capture + share your world - Karma Drone here in the States also, what are the release notes saying for v1.51? Was the just for the Drone, Controller, and/or stabilizer?

Were there nearby obstructions (trees or building) that could influences the quality of the GPS signal? (Ideally, you really need to be in an open space.) Were you not able to use stick control to limit the drift? (You can't launch and walk away and assume the drone will remain in place)

@JRodAviator FYI The Find-my-Drone isn't a precise tool. It helps give you the general area. (Someone posted a while back that the actual location vs the FMD location was a good distance off -- I think like on the scale of 100s of yards). You might want to post "missing drone w/reward" posters...

One more thing: tape your name & phone number on the drone (and controller). If it flies away, you might have a chance of someone nice returning it to you if they find it.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I'm still waiting to get my issue (from Memorial Day) resolved with GoPro . Did you try and use the Find My Drone / Last Location on the controller?
