I wonder if this is connect in any way.... Understanding the root issue was an outdated geo magnetic map... I never had a single compass error until late November and in December. I wonder if the more dated the file, the more chances of an actual error is?

Two Guns Arizona

Did a test flight out at Two Guns just east of Flagstaff.

I have not, but, use the piece of foam pad that sits between the camera and the controller (if you have the Karma case) and stick it between controller and lid. I have used this "hack" to keep hands free durning follow me mode.

Very interesting, could you share what mods you made to work with the Karma? On a side note, I have been able to get just over 5900 ft in horizontal distance while at the same elevation as the stock controller with the flat surface positioned towards the drone.

Upgrade! I ordered a bag of M5 x 20MM plastic screws and nuts and replaced the GoPro style thumb screws and nuts with all plastic hardware. I also cleaned up the wiring a bit with some heat shrink tubing. Total weight is just at 8 1/8 Oz (233 grams) now. I have not test flown yet in this...

I assembled everything and soldered it together. it appears I do not need the button assembly at all to drive 2 LED's. total weight 9 and 3/8 oz. I can trim about an OZ more with shortwr screws and removing the battery cover.
