I was on with Customer Service for 2 hours resetting everything....and when they discovered the unit was out of warranty, they essentially hung up on me...I contacted GoPro assistance and they know there is a problem and will fix it even if warranty not anymore effective, I will keep on touch

Still no update on this issue? I just bought one and I will return it if I continue not to be able to pair the controller with the drone. Thank you.
I’ve started having the same issues,resetting the control has done nothing to help.Hello, sounds like I am having the same issue as everyone else. The controller and the drone will not pair.
Does anyone know if resetting the controller to factory settings helps?
